Radcliffe Eliminated by Frank

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

As soon as the bubble had burst, several short stacks got their chips into the middle. Among them was also Paul Radcliffe, who was up against Christopher Frank with a repot. Ryan Hoenig had invested 80,000 by then and opted to fold when Frank reraised the pot behind.

Paul Radcliffe: KQ1010 All in
Christopher Frank: KK65

The JJ924 board changed nothing despite some sweat with the open-ended straight draw, sending Radcliffe to the rail.

Steinberg Septuples; Milgrom Eliminated

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Steve Yagudaev raised to 30,000 under the gun, Nicolas Milgrom committed his remaining 4,000 before Mark Steinberg did the same, also with a stack of just 4,000. That ended the preflop action, and the players revealed their cards.

Nicolas Milgrom: AQ64 All in
Mark Steinberg: JJ73 All in
Steve Yagudaev: AQJ3

The 4K3 flop gave Milgrom hope of a spin-up, flopping a flush draw, and it was instant service with the turn 2.

The dealer put out the K river, but Steinberg was already on his way out the door as Milgrom already had the pot wrapped up.

Lady Luck

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

When action folded to Stephen Chidwick in the cutoff, he elected to limp in. The player in the small blind did the same before seeing Kurtis Tinfow, in the big blind, raise to 48,000. Chidwick called, but the small blind got out of the way.

Tinfow continued for 120,000 on the Q54 flop, and again, Chidwick called.

The 4 turn didn't slow the action as Tinfow moved all in for 94,000; a bet which Chidwick snap-called.

Kurtis Tinfow: AAQJ All in
Stephen Chidwick: J874

Chidwick had turned trips, which had Tinfow in bad shape. However, the river Q came to his rescue, improving him to better trips than Chidwick.

Tinfow sat back down in his seat as the dealer pushed the pot his way.

Hubbard, Kuney & Harrison All Bust vs Liu

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Stephen Hubbard
Stephen Hubbard

The biggest pot of the tournament just occurred on Table #668.

On a flop of 394, Stephen Hubbard, Michael Kuney, and Robert Harrison got all of their chips into the middle with Zhengpeng Liu being the player with the covering stack trying to bust all three.

Michael Kuney: A765 All in
Robert Harrison: 6542 All in
Stephen Hubbard: 5432 All in
Zhengpeng Liu: K998

Liu had the nuts right now with top set, and was against three wraps from his opponents. The Q on the turn was good for Liu, as no one picked up any backdoor draws. The K landed on the river, which meant Liu's set of nines won him a pot of over two million and sent three players home.
