Li Puts Razavian to the Test

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Yingui Li made it 7,000 to go from middle position with Parviz Razavian calling from the hijack, and Ralph Porter calling from the button.

Li bet 18,000 on the 7Q9 flop, and was met by an immediate min-raise to 36,000 from Razavian. Porter folded, but Li potted it to 126,500. Razavian took a few moments before folding and relinquishing the pot to Li.

Abdellatif Among the Early Casualties

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Felipe Campins was aiming to knock out Jonathan Abdellatif, who had lost all but his last 11,500 chips. Abdellatif was then all-in with KKQ5 against his 9x9x6xXx which Campins all but mucked after the AK6 flop. The 6 turn gave Campins a single out to runner-runner quads but the 10 river was a blank.

The comeback for Abdellatif never happened as he busted shortly after.

Sylvestre Under Pressure

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Charles Sylvestre raised to 7,000 and Matt Vengrin three-bet the pot to 24,000 in the small blind. It folded back to Sylvestre and he checked how many chips Vengrin had left behind - 14,000 more - and folded.

Shortly after, Sylvestre made it 7,000 to go and was called by Rami Boukai in the big blind. Boukai checked the A76 flop and Sylvestre bet the pot for 18,500, which Boukai reluctantly called.

"Do you have any big chips left?" Boukai asked on the 10 turn and Sylvestre shook his head, replied "I have around sixty". Boukai bet the pot and Sylvestre sigh-folded once more.

New in the field on nearby tables are Aaron Katz and Jared Bleznick.

We are Witnessing One of the Most Legendary Runs Ever at the WSOP

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Shiina Okamoto
Shiina Okamoto

One win (so far). One second-place finish. Three final table appearances, all within the past three years ... in the same event.

Let us introduce Japanese poker player Shiina Okamoto, the defending champion in the $1,000 Ladies Championship at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), who will enter Sunday's final table with the chip lead.

Michael Mizrachi made history on Saturday by winning his fourth Poker Players Championship bracelet. He not only became the first player ever to win the same major poker tournament four times, but he did so in what many consider to be the second most prestigious event in the world. Okamoto, regardless of what position she finishes at the final table, is making history of her own.
