2025 World Series of Poker
Action folded to Danny Panagatos on the button, who moved all in for his remaining 2,300,000. Small blind Thomas Sherman made the call, and the big blind folded.
Danny Panagatos: A♣10♠
Thomas Sherman: Q♠Q♥
Panatagos found no help on the 2♥6♠9♠ flop, and the turn 5♦ left him with just one chance at survival.
Unfortunately for Panatagos, the river Q♣ only served to improve his opponent to a set, sealing his fate and sending him to the rail.
Level: 38
Blinds: 600,000/1,200,000
Ante: 1,200,000
Clement Bonnant raised to 2,000,000 under the gun and Alexander Ellison defended in the big blind.
The flop came K♠J♥6♣ and Ellison check-raised all in for 4,000,000 over Bonnant's bet of 1,000,000. Bonnant quickly called.
Alexander Ellison: J♣3♣
Clement Bonnant: A♦J♦
The turn landed the 4♦ and the river brought the 3♣, giving Ellison two pair, jacks and threes to double up.
Connor Daynard raised to 2,000,000 in middle position, only to see Alexander Yen move all in for 8,000,000 next to act. Robert Cheung also moved all in for 4,400,000 one more seat over. Daynard made the call, putting them both at risk.
Robert Cheung: A♠10♣
Alexander Yen: J♣J♥
Connor Daynard: J♠10♠
Cheung took the lead on the 5♥A♣7♥ flop, and kept it that way with the K♣ turn and K♦ river.
Yen held on to take a side pot, as Cheung tripled his stack.
In a heads-up raised pot, the flop was 3♥2♣10♣ when Vadzim Lipauka and Thomas Sherman checked.
The turn brought the 5♦ and Lipauka led out for 3,300,000. Sherman decided to call.
The 2♥ landed on the river and Lipauka thought about his move before betting 8,200,000. After some thinking, Sherman called, but only to muck when he saw K♦10♦ in Lipauka's hands for tw pair.
Action folded around to Caglar Bayindir in the small blind who moved all in. Benjamin Palmer thought for a moment before calling off his stack of around 4,400,000 to put himself at risk.
Benjamin Palmer: Q♦6♠
Caglar Bayindir: A♣4♠
Palmer picked up additional outs with a gutshot on the K♠9♣10♠ flop, but Bayindir pulled ahead further on the A♥ turn by pairing his ace. The 8♠ river was a blank for Palmer and he was sent packing.
Thomas Sherman started the action with a limp from early position before calling a raise to 4,000,000 from Connor Daynard in the hijack.
The two players went to a 3♦8♥9♠ flop, and Sherman check-called a bet of 2,000,000.
The dealer then revealed the 2♠ flop, and when Sherman checked again, Daynard continued for 3,500,000. This time, though, it was met with a check-raise. Sherman moved all in, and before his chips could even make the middle of the felt, Daynard folded.
All the chips went in the middle preflop between Rafi Elimelech, at risk for a stack of 14,200,000, against Christopher Davis who had over 15,000,000.
Rafi Elimelech: A♦Q♣
Christopher Davis: A♣K♣
Elimelech didn't find any help on a board 9♥9♣5♣A♠2♣ and he made his way to the payout desk.
