Visagie At Risk, Bonnant Flops the Nuts

Gawain Visagie moved all in for 1,900,000 from middle position, and, two seats to his left, Clement Bonnant elected to move all in too. No other players got involved, and it was Visagie at risk.

The turn Q gave Visagie some hope, now able to make a higher straight. Alas, the river 7 was no help and Visagie said his goodbyes and headed to the exit.

Fred Goldberg raised to 1,600,000, and next to act, Andres Read called for less, all in for 1,200,000. The rest of the table got out of the way, and the players revealed their cards.

Read was flipping with the hope of keeping his deep run going, but the 289 left him with just two outs to stay alive.

The turn 9 improved Goldberg to trips, and the river 6 did not affect the outcome as Read vacated his seat and headed to the exit.

Jamie Turner open-shoved in the cutoff for just over 10,000,000 and Lucas Lew called in the small blind for 3,600,000 to put himself at risk.

Doucet was hoping to hit the flush, which is exactly what happened as the board showed AQJ65 and he took down the needed double up.

Bartha Takes a Big Chunk of Zacconi's Stack

The board already read J8Q83 in a heads-up hand with a large pot around 5,000,000. Liviu-Rodrig Bartha tanked and sent a bet of 1,300,000. Marcio Zacconi announced all in, and Bartha made the call with a remaining stack around 5,000,000.

Zacconi tabled AJ for two pair, which wasn't good enough to claim the pot as Bartha revealed 109 for the straight.
