Zhigalov bet, receiving two calls. Zhigalov then checked fifth street, prompting Frazin to bet. Pan called, and so did Zhigalov. The initiative changed once again on sixth street, as Pan took a turn betting after being checked to.

Zhigalov and Frazin both stuck around with calls, and seventh street was checked to showdown. Zhigalov showed a pair of aces for the high, and Frazin's eight-low took its respective half of the pot as Pan's cards hit the muck.

Mucked cards are back in the news at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) after a player retrieved his hand from the muck on Day 1a of the Main Event, only to promptly bust to a cooler.

The hand occurred during Level 3 of the $10,000 buy-in World Championship event — the blinds at 200/400. PokerNews live reporter Liam Gannon captured a hand that left a player screaming expletives on the way out the door.

Livingston called to fifth where he put in his last chips. Zhigalov called and turned over 58K4 for kings and eights.

Livingston had 3A9 going to seventh and was looking for a low to chop the pot, but he instead caught the 2 to make a wheel and double up.

"He was hoping for half and got it all. Just like my ex-wife," Tim Frazin said.

Reminiscing Frazin and Zhigalov Chop a Pot

While Andrey Zhigalov and Timothy Frazin were looking back at their heads-up battle in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E event in 2018, Zhigalov completed and Frazin raised. Zhigalov called, after which fourth street checked through.

Zhigalov check fifth street as well, but Frazin fired a bet. Zhigalov called, and check-called sixth and seventh street as well.

Frazin showed a flush and eight-low, seeing Zhigalov being awarded half the pot with his seven-low.

Frazin then bet, and Schwartz and Gluszko called to showdown. Frazin tabled a six-low, and Schwartz declared aces-up. Gluszko was left shaking his head as he tossed his cards into the muck, seeing his chips get chopped up.

"You're not allowed to sweat with him when you're in a pot with me," Tim Frazin said to Schwartz.

"He's a lovely sweater," Schwartz added.

"I was afraid I was going to give a tell," Lin said.

"I don't give a f**k. He was going to call one bet either way," Schwartz replied.
