Pineault Takes A Chance

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Karl Pineault says he has never pondered a poker decision for as long as it took for him to decide what to do with Debra Heidenreich's 500,000-chip bet.

With over a million chips already in the pot, the river bet on a board of 371074 would lead to one of the players having a significant amount of chips.

Pineault eventually made the call.

Heidenreich tossed in AK, leading to a scream from Pineault, who had made the call with 99, hoping that Heidenreich had missed.

Miyazaki Scoops the Three-way Pot

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Three-way play was already in progress with Congya Zhang all-in on the flop of K88 with a pot of around 300,000.

Tomonari Miyazaki fired 80,000 when the turn J dropped, creating a side pot with Lorenzo Rodriguez, who was also in the hand. Rodriguez called to see the last card.

The river fell 2 and both players checked, taking everyone to showdown.

Zhang tabled 77 for two pair with her pockets and the board, Rodriquez showed A3 for ace-high, and Miyazaki with J9 took both the main pot and the side pot for the higher two pair. Miyazaki left the table bidding everyone good luck as Miyazaki scooped the pot,

King-High Good

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action has slowed down a little bit, with players just a few minutes away from their dinner break. An extremely passive hand took place, in which Damian Grant opened the action with a raise to 75,000 from the cutoff. His only customer was Jeremy Van Der Linden, who defended his big blind.

The board ran all the way out, with neither play attempting to take a stab, as it went check-check to the river, reading 2A964. Van Der Linden showed KJ and Grant mucked.
