Nines Have it

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

After action was checked to him, Suhail Khan fired a 65,000 on the flop of 724 with a pot of around 450,000. Jacob Marlman, the only other player in the hand, called.

The turn 7 fell, and both players checked. On the river 3, Marlman led out with 65,000 and Khan called.

Marlman tabled 66 for a two pair with the board. Marlman turned over 99 for the better two pair.

Guo Beats Morales... Brutally

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Francesco Morales was all in and at risk for his tournament life. All he had to do to hang on and earn a double was hold against a hand he dominated.

Francesco Morales: A10 All in
Zhan Xi Guo: A9

The flop was a scary one as K27 gave Guo so many more outs. He wasted no time in making the nuts, as his opponent was drawing dead on the 5 turn. Any river, including the 6 that was put out, was inconsequential.

Guo Eliminates Reyes

Zhan Guo

Bryan Reyes moved all in for 295,000 from the big blind, after facing a raise from Zhan Xi Guo to 85,000 in the hijack. Guo made the call.

Bryan Reyes: KJ All in
Zhan Xi Guo: A10

The board ran out with AQ226, and even though Reyes called for a ten, he did not receive it, and Guo's two pair was good for the win.

Yuan Out Early After Break

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kristopher Duren pushed all in for 300,000 from the small blind, and got a call from Xizhe Yuan seated next to him in the big blind.

Kristopher Duren: J8All in
Xizhe Yuan: KQ

Duren did get a pair on the flop, but the full rundown of 8AKQ7 ended with Yuan holding two pair (kings and queens) and apologizing for being the knockout artist to his tablemate.

WSOP

In poker, like in life, they say records are meant to be broken.

But sometimes, someone sets a milestone that just feels impossible to top. Whether it’s because of insane skill, perfect timing, a bit of luck, or a mix of all three, the World Series of Poker has seen some feats over the years that seem like they’ll never be matched.

However, while all records may eventually fall, these achievements are currently some of the most jaw-dropping in WSOP history. Will any of them ever be broken? Only time will tell. For now, though, here are the most incredible WSOP records that will (probably) never be broken.

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action was picked up with Scott Haley all-in for around 200,000 and at risk against Jeremy Barnett.

Scott Haley: 88 All in

Haley got out of his chair when the hand was tabled, expecting the result. Barnett's jacks stood firm against a board that ran 5KA53.

Upon the dealing of the last street, Haley bid farewell and proceeded to the payout counter.
