Guelpa Shows Big Bluff

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Ryan Speckman opened up the action under the gun with a raise. Alfred Griffin called from early position, Stephane Guelpa called two doors down, and Martin Ward did the same from the small blind. Brian Vu in the big blind isolated to 3,600, and only Guelpa called.

On a flop of 5JA Vu continued for 4,000, only for Guelpa to put in a check-raise to 11,500. Vu thought, then called, bringing in the K turn, which checked through. Vu checked again on the A river, prompting Guelpa to bet out for 21,000. Vu tanked for a while, before folding.

"Last time," announced Guelpa, before showing 109 for a pure bluff.
