Sorin Cristea raised in middle position to 1,600 and immediately faced a three-bet from David Diaz, one seat to his left. Diaz had made it 5,000, and when action folded back to Cristea, he made the call.
Both players checked the 9♦7♣J♦ flop before Cristea check-called a bet of 3,500 on the 7♦ turn.
When the 10♣ river was dealt, Cristea checked again. Diaz followed up on his turn bet with another, this time for 10,000.
Cristea spent some time in the tank, going back and forth between call and fold. He picked up the chips, looking like he was going to call, but reluctantly folded instead.
Diaz kept quiet as he pulled in the pot, giving nothing away.
