Charles Honkonen raised from under the gun to 600, and action folded round to Vamsi Magam, on the button. Magam gave Honkonen a good look up and down, trying to get a look at his opponent's stack. "I started the hand with 19,900", Honkonen advised. Magam opted just to call, and the remaining players to act folded.
Both players checked the J♥4♣5♥ flop before Honkonen picked the betting lead back up with a bet of 1,500 on the 9♥ turn. Magam made the call, and the two took a river.
The 8♦ didn't slow Honkonen, who flicked out a bet of 2,500. This time, Magam ceded, returning his cards to the dealer and surrendering the pot to Honkonen.
