Shathaya put out a bet of 2,200, which was met by a raise to 6,200 by Fernandez. Shathaya called to see a river.
The dealer burned and turned the 9♦, and when Shathaya checked, Fernandez continued for a more substantial 13,000. Shathaya made a quick call, and Fernandez pitched his cards back to the dealer face down, surrendering the pot.
As Fernandez hadn't shown his cards, Shathaya wasn't obliged to reveal his either, and as such, he returned his winning hand face down to the dealer, too.
