Frustration Shows
Ramana Epparla raised on the button to 1,200 and was met with immediate resistance in the form of a three-bet to 3,300 by Dustin Holladay, in the small blind. The big blind considered his options before folding, and Epparla immediately flicked in the call. "I knew you weren't going to fold", quipped Holladay, implying some history between the two.
Holladay continued for 3,000 on the 4♠7♣9♦ flop, and Epparla wasted no time in calling.
When the dealer flipped the 8♠ turn, Holladay slowed down with a check, and Epparla sensed his opportunity, putting out a bet of 2,000. Holladay called to see the final card.
The K♥ river was dealt, and Holladay proceeded with another check. Epparla casually flicked in a 5,000 chip, which elicited an immediate, frustrated fold from Holladay.
