The action was joined on a A♣9♠8♣ flop with roughly 14,000 in the middle.
The player in the big blind checked, as did Miltiadis Kyriakides, who was playing from early position. Action was then on Dustin Holladay, who placed a bet of 7,000. The big blind called, and Kyriakides hit them both with a perfectly executed check-raise.
Holladay took a minute or two, uncertain of what to do. He landed on a fold and returned his cards to the dealer.
The big blind folded almost straight away, and Kyriakides offered to show a card. The 6♣ was the exposed card to which Holladay said, "If he [the big blind] hadn't called, you and I were just getting it in".
