No Luck for Nold

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was followed from the J210 flop with a pot of around 10,000 when Ari Pelcovitz check-called the big blind after Adrian Lopez bet 3,500 from under the gun. Derek Nold called from early position, Hitesh Patel called the cutoff and Caitlin Comeskey also called on the button.

The Q turn prompted action to check around to Patel who bet 8,500. Comeskey folded, as did Pelcovitz. Lopez called, but Nold moved all in for his remaining 39,300.

Patel took some time before calling, and Lopez got out of the way as the players flipped their hands heads-up on the turn.

Derek Nold: K10All in
Hitesh Patel: Q8

Nold was looking at a heart flush draw and a straight draw, but sitting with a pair of tens. Patel had paired up to a queen on the turn and was ahead.

No luck came for Nold on the Q river, which only improved Patel and Nold was eliminated from the tournament in the first level of the day.
