Defeo Finds a Double

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Brian Zeid raised to 3,000 from the cutoff, and Gregory Defeo called from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a 5410 flop, on which Defeo check-called a bet of 4,500.

Zied continued with a bet of 6,500 on the 4 turn, but an undeterred Defeo called once more.

When the river came the 3, Defeo opted to take over the betting lead, moving all in for 21,000. Zied sat back in his chair to rethink the action and decided a call was in order.

It was bad news for Zied, as Defeo had rivered a straight with his 76. Zied's hand was returned to the muck, and Defeo was paid his double-up.
