Both players checked the 5♠ turn and the 5♥ river, which surprised some of the players at the table when they saw the players' cards.
Garagnani tabled K♦K♣ for the top full house and was hoping his opponent would bet the river. Defeo showed he had 9♥9♣, and to rub salt into the wound, told his tablemate that he would have called at least one more bet.
