Antony Cragg raised from early position to 2,500 before seeing Wietse Hasper three-bet from the hijack to 7,000. Action folded back to Cragg, who made the call.
Both players checked on the A♠8♣6♠ flop, but when Cragg checked again on the J♠ turn, Hasper picked his betting lead back up, putting 6,500 into the middle. Cragg made the call, and before the dealer burned and turned a river card.
The dealer added the A♥ to the board, and when Cragg checked for a third time, Hasper increased the pressure. He assembled a bet of 16,500 and pushed it into the middle. Cragg spent some time trying to piece together Hasper's story, and after a minute or two had passed, he chose just to fold.
