Locquet Isolates to Protect Oike

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Katie Lindsay raised to 16,000 in early position and Emi Oike called all in for the same amount in middle position. Shigui Liang on the button and Lester Edoc in the small blind also called. Romain Locquet, though, three-bet to 88,000 in the big blind and Lindsay quickly folded. Liang took a minute before also folding, while Edoc also got out of the way.

Emi Oike: Q10 All in
Romain Locquet: Q6

"Gave you a chance," Locquet told Oike when he turned over their cards.

"Was that necessary?" Lindsay asked him.

Locquet took the lead on the 635 flop with a pair of sixes, but Oike spiked the 10 on the turn to move in front. The river was the 4 and Oike quintupled up.
