"The Rich Get Richer"; Shaw Has Perfect Timing to Bust Two

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Carl Shaw
Carl Shaw

Carl Shaw raised to 28,000 in early position before Eric Worre moved all in for 260,000 in the hijack. Fernando Gutierrez also shoved for his last 190,000 in the cutoff as action went back on Shaw who snap-called.

Fernando Gutierrez: JJ All in
Eric Worre: 77 All in
Carl Shaw: AA

"Good timing," a tablemate told Shaw, who turned over two aces to leave both opponents in desperate need of help to stay alive.

"Any seven will do," Worre said, standing up from his seat filming the action as the flop came 633. The turn was the Q and Worre repeated his pleas for a lucky seven, but no helped arrived on the 5 river and Shaw scored the double knockout.

"The rich get richer," another tablemate added.
