Nawa Hooks Double-Up

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Hiroki Nawa
Hiroki Nawa

Francisco Roman open-raised to 37,000 in early position. Miltiadis Kyriakides called in the hijack, and Curtis King followed suit on the button.

Hiroki Nawa then three-bet jammed for 309,000 from the small blind. Roman mucked his cards, and Kyriakides sent his cards into the muck as well. King quickly called, however, and the cards were tabled.

Hiroki Nawa: JJ All in
Curtis King: 1010

Nawa's superior pocket pair remained best on the 2A247 runout, and he doubled up to overtake King in the counts.
