Beckenstein Good at Showdown
Level 29
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Joshua Beckenstein opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Chahn Jung defended in the big blind.
Jung checked on the flop of 2♠5♠Q♦ and Beckenstein continued for 350,000. Jung called. Both players then checked on the J♠ turn and again on the 9♥ river. Jung showed 4♥4♠, which was no good against the A♠J♦ of Beckenstein.
During the hand, the floor warned Beckenstein to keep his aluminum fidget toy off the felt and rail since it is a shiny device that could potentially reflect cards.
"It's about as shiny as this coin," protested Beckenstein.
