Rogers Wins With Queens

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With three players seeing a board of A5J and around 5,000 in the middle, Kelly Lucas checked from the big blind and Jeffrey Rogers bet 2,500 from middle position. Denny Kruezi called from the button and Lucas called.

Rogers continued for 6,500 when checked to on the 7 turn and this time only Kruezi called. Both players then checked the 7 river.

Rogers turned over a flush with QQ and Kruezi mucked.

Kraft Takes from Mateos

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Florian Kraft was facing a limp, and then a raise to 1,600, ahead of him and elected to three-bet to 4,000. Adrian Mateos called from the small blind before the limper and original raiser got out of the way.

Mateos check-called a bet of 4,000 on a flop of K54, before both players checked the 4 turn.

Mateos checked for a third time on the 10 river, which prompted Kraft to restart the betting, doing so for 13,000.

There was a suspicious look from Mateos in the direction of his opponent, but ultimately, he chose to fold.

Fatal Missread

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Three-way on a flop of 9K8, Armen Ayrapetyan in the cutoff bet 2,000, the small blind folded and Charles Welsh in the big blind made the call.

Ayrapetyan fired a second barrel of 6,000 on the 5 turn, but Welsh check-raised to 15,000. Ayrapetyan quickly called and moved all-in for 34,600 after Welsh checked the 10 river. Welsh went deep into the tank and called.

Armen Ayrapetyan: AK All in
Charles Welsh: 95

Ayrapetyan thought he had the won, but Welsh with two pair had the best hand. "But there is a pair on the board, I win," claimed Ayrapetyan, before having a closer look and realizing his mistake. He was covered so he was eliminated.

Cold Brewer

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 10K6 with a few thousand already in the middle, Ivan Ermin checked from the big blind and Chris Brewer bet 1,500 from middle position. Ermin called.

Both players checked on the Q turn and then Ermin led out for 4,200 on the 6 river — sending Brewer into the tank.

Brewer rolled his eyes and shook his head as he contemplated his decision, but eventually landed on a fold and Ermin collected the pot without showing.
