2025 World Series of Poker
Niklas Astedt raised to 500 in the cutoff. Ryan Hoenig called on the button, and Katie Berens defended her big blind.
Berens checked to Astedt on the Q♥7♦6♣ flop, who continued for 600. Hoenig called before Berens squeezed in a raise to 2,200. Astedt quickly folded, and Hoenig followed suit to see the pot shipped to Berens without contest.
Luka Bojovic was also seated at this table, having slightly chipped up from the starting stack of 60,000.
Heads-up in a raised pot on a flop of A♦A♥Q♥, Eric Baldwin checked from the cutoff and David-Alexander Jimenez-Murcia bet 500 on the button. Baldwin called.
Both players checked on the 7♦ turn and then Baldwin led out for 1,200 after the K♥ completed the board.
Jimenez-Murcia checked his hole cards and then stuck in a call. Baldwin turned over 10♥8♥ for a flush and Jimenez-Murcia mucked his hand.
Artur Martirosian raised to 500 from the hijack and was three-bet to 2,000 by Nils Pudel in the cutoff. Action folded back to Martirosian, who called.
Martirosian check-called a 900 bet from Pudel on the A♦10♠A♣ flop and then both players checked on the 7♥ turn.
The 2♦ completed the board and Martirosian checked a final time — prompting a 4,500 bet from Pudel.
Martirosian laid his hand down without much thought and Pudel was awarded the pot.

Stephen Friedrich raised from under the gun to 800, and only John Hennigan made the call, a couple of seats to his left.
The hand then played out in a style akin to speed chess.
Friedrich continued with a bet of 1,200, which Hennigan quickly raised to 3,000. Friedrich called immediately, and the two took a turn.
As quick as a flash, Friedrich had check-called a bet of 3,700 on the 2♦ turn, before both players then checked the 8♥ river.
Friedrich turned over J♥J♦, which was enough to lay claim to the pot as Hennigan mucked his cards.
