Ngo Picks Off a Big Bluff to Double

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Thi Ngo
Thi Ngo

With two players seeing a final board of JQ1084 and around 20,000 in the middle, Thi Ngo checked from the hijack and Wenbin Chen shoved from the cutoff, covering Ngo who had 24,300 behind. Ngo called.

Chen could only show K10 for a pair of tens, missed straight draw and blocker to the nut straight. Ngo turned over the second-nut straight with K9 to secure a full double up through Chen.

Vavelle Slows Lindgren's Progress

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Erick Lindgren raised in early position to 700, which garnered calls from Nick Vavalle in the cutoff and the player in the small blind.

All three players checked the 810K flop before Lindgren picked up the betting lead again on the 4, with a wager of 1,500. Vavalle called, and the small blind player folded.

Lindgren continued with a bet of 4,500 on the A river, which was met with a raise from Vavelle to 12,000.

After taking some time to consider his options, Lindgren returned his cards to the dealer. "Suspicious", Lindgren said, as the pot was being pushed in the direction of his opponent.
