Greenwood Takes it on the Turn

Lucas Greenwood opened to 1,200 from the cutoff, but Nikola Gasevic had a hand he felt was worth more. Playing from the small blind, he put in a three-bet to 3,500. Action then folded back to Greenwood, who made the call.

Gasevic continued his aggression with a bet of 2,800 on the very connected 5♦6♦4♣ flop, which again, Greenwood called.

The 7♠ turn brought four to a straight in both directions, and Gasevic elected to check. Greenwood accepted the invitation to take over the betting lead and placed a substantial wager of 8,000.

Gasevic did take some time to deliberate, but ultimately decided to return his cards to the dealer.

With 4,200 in the pot, David Gougelmann checked the K♦Q♥J♣ flop from the cutoff, and Bruno Fitoussi checked behind on the button.

Gougelmann checked again on the 7♠ turn and Fitoussi bet 2,500. Gougelmann took his time and then flicked in the call.

When the Q♦ rolled off on the river, Gougelmann led out for 5,000, which was enough to force Fitoussi to fold.

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Aditya Prasetyo in the small blind and Maciej Gut in the cutoff.

With 21,100 in the middle and a board reading J♥10♠Q♥10♦, Prasetyo checked over to Gut who bet 10,000 and Prasetyo called.

Prasetyo led out for 15,000 on the river 9♥ and Gut went into the tank. He counted out the call from his chip stack and sized it up against the rest of his stack before ultimately deciding to call.

At showdown, Prasetyo tabled K♦K♣ for a king-high straight, but it was no good against Gut who tabled J♠J♦ for jacks full of tens. He apologized a couple of times to Prasetyo as he raked in the pot.

Ramon Rivera raised in early position to 1,100, Antonio Vargas three-bet in the hijack to 4,000, Rivera four-bet to 15,000, Vargas called.

Rivera fired out a bet of 8,000 when the flop came 3♣2♥4♠, Vargas called. Rivera fired again when the 7♦ hit the turn and forced a fold from Vargas.

Paul Taylor came in with a raise to 1,100 from under the gun with Daemon Richardson calling from the cutoff, Antonius Samuel calling out of the small blind, and Justin Olson defending his big blind.

Four ways to the 6♦9♣5♠ flop that got checked around for the K♣ to appear on the turn. After the blinds checked, Taylor bet 3,000, and only Richardson called.

The 4♥ river went check-check and Taylor tabled the winner with K♠8♠ for a pair of kings.
