Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Daniel Echols under the gun and Chris Hunichen on the button had created a pot of 35,500 when they arrived on the 5974 turn.

Echols checked to Hunichen, who bet 14,000. After a small tank, Echols moved all in for 36,500.

"Do you have aces?" Hunichen sighed as he quickly called off.

Daniel Echols: AA All in
Chris Hunichen: KK

Hunichen had guessed correctly, and Echols' rockets held on the 4 river to secure his double-up, leaving Hunichen with a stack of about 80 big blinds.

Cooper's Set Ends Escossi's Main Event Dreams

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Jason Cooper
Jason Cooper

With around 11,000 already in the middle on a board of 9432, Jason Cooper checked from the cutoff, and Vinicius Escossi bet roughly 9,000 from the button. Cooper quickly check-raised to 30,000, causing Escossi to go into the tank. After pondering for quite some time, Escossi jammed for 52,000, and Cooper instantly called.

Vinicius Escossi: KK All in
Jason Cooper: 99

Escossi had an overpair with pocket kings, but was behind to Cooper's flopped set of nines.

Escossi was already out of his seat and heading for the exit as the A rolled off on the river, cementing his elimination from the Main Event.

Swift's Downtrend Continues

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Four-way to a K1039 turn, Tony Ghaffari bet 1,200 from the big blind. Katie Swift called in middle position before the other two players got out of the way.

The K turn saw Ghaffari size up to 3,500. Swift made a swift call, but her QJ for a straight was no good as Ghaffari tabled 33 for a full house.
