There were roughly 2,000 chips in the pot on a board of 2J95, Troy Otto who was under the gun checked to Abhisek Banerjee in the cutoff and he bet 3,000, Otto called.

Both players checked on the 3, Otto tabled 43 for a pair but could not beat the top pair of Banerjee with KJ.

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Elvis Reyes in late position and Brent Barby in the cutoff with 4,300 in the center.

On the board reading KJJQ Reyes checked to Barby who bet 2,100 and Reyes called.

The river peeled off a 9 and Reyes checked over to Barby who bet 5,000 and Reyes called.

Barby tabled 66 for jacks and sixes, but it was no good against Reyes' AJ for three jacks and an ace.

Jahn Six-Bets All-In

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Stefan Jahn opened from middle position, but Yibo Song in the cutoff three-bet to 3,000. The button and the blinds folded to Jahn who four-bet to 8,700.

Song went into the tank and five-bet to 19,000, so the decision was now on Jahn who didn't seem happy about this raise. After a minute, he eventually moved all-in for 54,500.

Song folded pretty quickly and Jahn breathed a sigh of relief while dragging the pot towards him.

Steven Phillips made it 800 to go from under the gun before Mark Epstein three-bet to 2,400 from the next seat. Phillips called when it folded back around to him.

Two checks followed the 2K9 flop to see the Q appear on the turn. Phillips led out for 3,200, which Epstein called.

The J dropped on the river and both players checked. Phillips showed AJ for a pair of jacks, but was second best to the AK of Epstein for top pair.

Richardson Puts Cape On

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With about 8,000 in the pot, hijack Paul Richardson checked the Q942 turn over to Franklin Yao. Yao bet 4,500, which Richardson called after some debate.

Richardson also checked the 6 river, after which Yao flicked in a single T-25,000 chips for an over-bet.

Richardson took a few minutes to puzzle the hand together, eventually tossing in a call.

"Good call," Yao said as he showed 85 for pure air. Richardson had called with 97, second pair, and he raked in the pot as he neared a six-figure stack.

With two players seeing a board of 2A49 and around 3,000 in the middle, Dimitrios Kilintaris checked from the big blind and Adrian State bet 2,000 from the button. Kilintaris called before both players checked the 7 river.

Kilintaris had K6 for king-high and a missed flush draw while State had a pair with 88 to win the hand.

Marshak Takes it Down With One

David Wintersberger raised to 800 in the hijack, and Sergii Ulitskyi responded with a three-bet to 2,400 on the button. Zack Marshak cold-called from the big blind, and Wintersberger completed the preflop action by calling.

All three players checked the 669 flop, which prompted Marshak to take over the betting lead on the 9 turn.

His wager of 4,200 was too rich for both of his opponents, as they quickly mucked their cards.

Yun did not slow down on the 5, and he bet 3,500 again on the river, Selbst thought about her decision for a short while and made the call.

Yun tabled a turn set with 66, Selbst mucked her hand.

Gunn Makes the Right Read but the Wrong Call

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Robert Varkonyi opened to 900 from early position and was called by Jamie Harding in middle position and Aaron Gunn in the big blind.

It was checked to Harding on the A64 flop and he bet 1,500. Gunn called, but Varkonyi folded.

Gunn check-called a 4,300 bet from Harding on the 7 turn and checked a final time on the 10 river, prompting a 9,600 bet from Harding.

"I hope you didn't hit a set of sevens on the turn," Gunn said as he stuck in a call.

"I did," Harding said as he revealed 77.

Gunn showed he held 66 for a flopped set and Harding was sent the pot.

Shibata's opponent in the hand was Wendeen Eolis, who was the first woman to cash in the WSOP Main Event back in 1986. Eolis opted to fire out a bet of 12,000, and Shibata responded by instantly folding.
