With the flop showing A♠8♥4♥, Jiawei Mao bet and then called a raise to 10,000 by Sunny So as they headed to the 7♦ on the turn. Mao now checked and So bet 25,000 only for Mao to reluctantly shove and get called by So.

The river was the 2♦ and the kicker played. Both stacks were counted and the 65,700 of So covered to knock out Mao during the final stages of the day.
With 6,000 in the middle on a board of 4♦9♠A♠5♣, Jesse Mull checked from the small blind and Ren Lin put out a pot-sized bet from middle position. After a few moments, Mull made the call.
The J♣ rolled off on the river, and Mull decided to check again. Lin fired out a big bet of 18,400, prompting Mull to go into the tank. After thinking for multiple minutes, Mull folded and allowed Lin to pull in the pot.
Scott Stevens moved his last 9,300 into the middle, and was at risk when Monty Berger made the call.

Berger picked up a pair on the J♣Q♦7♥ flop, and found a straight draw on the 9♥ turn. Stevens saw a safe 6♠ river, doubling his stack at the end of the night.
Three ways to the 10♥8♦6♥ flop, Philippe Souki in the big blind checked and so did the third player in the hand before Robert Zarzycki on the button bet 1,500. Only Souki check-called and did so again for 4,000 on the 5♦ turn. They checked the K♥ on the river and Souki announced a six, but mucked when Zarzycki showed his J♦10♣.
Rick McGraw went all in from middle position, getting calls from Corey Wick, also in middle position, and Jason Daly in the hijack.
Wick and Daly checked down through the runout A♠5♦10♠A♦10♣.
McGraw showed 5♥5♣ for a full house, but Wick's A♣9♣ gave him a bigger one and knocked McGraw out of the tournament minutes away from Day 2. Daly had K♠J♠.
Matthew Liu raised to 1,500 on the button. Mikolaj Zawadzki three-bet to 7,500 in the big blind, which Liu called.
Zawadzki continued for 5,700 on the Q♥8♠10♥ flop. Liu called to the 6♠ turn, which both players checked. The 10♠ river was also checked through, and Liu's J♥J♦ bested Zawadzki's A♥K♦ at showdown.
Matthew Barnett raised to 1,200,000 and Rex Jensen pushed for around 6,000 on the button. Both blinds folded and Barnett called with the A♣Q♦. That flipped against the 5♥5♠ of Barnett and couldn't hold on a board of Q♠9♠2♥2♣6♠.
Out of a field of 4,997 entries, nearly 3,800 players bagged up chips as the action of the final starting day has officially concluded across all of the tournament areas.
