Ivers Gets Value with Tens Full

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Joseph Baghdalian kicked things off with 88 from middle position, raising to 2,600. Daniel Ivers called in the hijack holding 1010, and Andrew Fleming came along on the button with A2.

The A410 flop gave Ivers middle set, and Baghdalian led out for 2,400. Both opponents called, keeping the pot multiway.

The 4 on the turn paired the board and improved Ivers to a full house. Baghdalian checked, and Ivers bet 6,500. Fleming let go of his top pair, while Baghdalian took some time before check-raising to 16,000. Ivers made the call.

The 5 river changed nothing, and Baghdalian checked again. Ivers paused to count his stack, then fired 36,000. Baghdalian quickly folded, giving up the pot to Ivers and his well-disguised monster.

Sweeney Coolers [Removed:549] for the Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ronan Sweeney from middle position got his entire 50,100 stack into the middle preflop, at risk against [Removed:548] from under the gun.

Ronan Sweeney: AA All in
[Removed:548]: QQ

It was a cooler scenario with over 100,000 in the middle as the 422 flop landed. Nothing changed on the 23 runout as Sweeney held on with the rockets to secure the full double.

Spyridon Apartoglou
Spyridon Apartoglou

In a three-bet pot worth 25,300, Spyridon Apartoglou bet 8,000 from the small blind on the 54Q flop. Martin Sturc called in early position, and did so too when Apartoglou sized up to 21,000 on the 8 turn.

The 10 river saw Apartoglou pile in a bet of 48,000. Sturc spent some time in the tank before he decided to call off. Apartoglou tabled AA for the preflop nuts, and Sturc sent his cards into the muck.

Two Pair Enough for Hui

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After action folded to her in the hijack, Loni Hui raised to 2,500 with 98. Keun Kwak picked up AK on the button and responded with a three-bet to 8,500. Hui made the call and they went to a flop.

The dealer fanned Q910, giving Hui middle pair and a gutshot. She checked, and Kwak continued for 5,000. Hui paused, then made the call.

The 3 turn and 10 river were both checked through, and at showdown, Hui’s two pair, tens and nines, proved best, earning her the pot as Kwak’s ace-high hit the muck.

Hui Springs the Trap, Gets Paid on the River

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Loni Hui opened from early position with AQ, and after action folded around, Zhannan Ge three-bet to 6,500 from the cutoff. Hui called, and the two went heads-up to the flop.

The 9102 flop gave Hui a strong flush draw, and she checked to Ge, who fired 5,500. Hui called without hesitation.

When the 6 landed on the turn, Hui completed her flush but opted to check again. Ge slowed down and checked back.

The river brought the 2, and Hui seized the moment with a bold over-pot-bet of 27,000. Ge thought it over and made the call, only to see Hui table the nuts, dragging in a healthy pot.

Pocket Deuces Triple Up as Ace-Kings Clash

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Loni Hui opened the action under the gun with AK, and Ethan Eramian flatted in middle position holding the same hand, AK. Zhannan Ge then looked down at 22 in the cutoff and shoved his last 14,700 into the middle.

Back on Hui, she sized up Eramian’s stack and four-bet to 63,800. Eramian snap-called, setting up a three-way showdown.

The board ran out 88653, missing both ace-kings entirely and allowing Ge's pocket deuces to hold for a full triple-up. Hui and Eramian, both holding top-tier starting hands, had to settle for chopping the side pot.
