Joseph Baghdalian kicked things off with 8♥8♦ from middle position, raising to 2,600. Daniel Ivers called in the hijack holding 10♥10♦, and Andrew Fleming came along on the button with A♣2♣.

The A♦4♥10♠ flop gave Ivers middle set, and Baghdalian led out for 2,400. Both opponents called, keeping the pot multiway.

The 4♦ on the turn paired the board and improved Ivers to a full house. Baghdalian checked, and Ivers bet 6,500. Fleming let go of his top pair, while Baghdalian took some time before check-raising to 16,000. Ivers made the call.

The 5♣ river changed nothing, and Baghdalian checked again. Ivers paused to count his stack, then fired 36,000. Baghdalian quickly folded, giving up the pot to Ivers and his well-disguised monster.

In a three-bet pot worth 25,300, Spyridon Apartoglou bet 8,000 from the small blind on the 5♣4♣Q♦ flop. Martin Sturc called in early position, and did so too when Apartoglou sized up to 21,000 on the 8♦ turn.

The 10♠ river saw Apartoglou pile in a bet of 48,000. Sturc spent some time in the tank before he decided to call off. Apartoglou tabled A♦A♣ for the preflop nuts, and Sturc sent his cards into the muck.

Michalek continued with a down-bet of 7,000 on the Q♥J♣3♦ flop. Macisaac didn't take long to flick in the call.

The 9♦ appeared on the turn and Michalek jammed for around 39,000. This time, Macisaac instantly folded, surrendering the pot to Michalek.

After action folded to her in the hijack, Loni Hui raised to 2,500 with 9♠8♠. Keun Kwak picked up A♠K♥ on the button and responded with a three-bet to 8,500. Hui made the call and they went to a flop.

The dealer fanned Q♦9♣10♠, giving Hui middle pair and a gutshot. She checked, and Kwak continued for 5,000. Hui paused, then made the call.

The 3♠ turn and 10♦ river were both checked through, and at showdown, Hui’s two pair, tens and nines, proved best, earning her the pot as Kwak’s ace-high hit the muck.

Loni Hui opened from early position with A♠Q♠, and after action folded around, Zhannan Ge three-bet to 6,500 from the cutoff. Hui called, and the two went heads-up to the flop.

The 9♣10♠2♠ flop gave Hui a strong flush draw, and she checked to Ge, who fired 5,500. Hui called without hesitation.

When the 6♠ landed on the turn, Hui completed her flush but opted to check again. Ge slowed down and checked back.

The river brought the 2♦, and Hui seized the moment with a bold over-pot-bet of 27,000. Ge thought it over and made the call, only to see Hui table the nuts, dragging in a healthy pot.

Back on Hui, she sized up Eramian’s stack and four-bet to 63,800. Eramian snap-called, setting up a three-way showdown.

The board ran out 8♣8♦6♥5♥3♥, missing both ace-kings entirely and allowing Ge's pocket deuces to hold for a full triple-up. Hui and Eramian, both holding top-tier starting hands, had to settle for chopping the side pot.
