Siddhesh Kudtarkar opened from the cutoff and Mark van der Biezen called in the big blind.
The flop came 2♦10♣J♣ and Van Der Biezen check-called a bet of 17,000 from Kudtarkar.
Both checked the 4♥ turn to the 7♠ river, where Van Der Biezen bet 38,000. Kudtarkar quickly called.
Van Der Biezen flipped K♣J♦ for a pair of jacks, and Kudtarkar mucked.
In a preflop confrontation, Doug Polk was all in for 243,000 from the cutoff and up against Luke Chung who covered him from the hijack.

Polk was a massive favorite to double up with pocket aces but was left drawing to two outs after the 6♣K♣3♣ flop gave Chung a set of kings. Polk couldn't make a set of his own as the rest of the board ran out 7♦10♦ and was eliminated in brutal fashion while Chung was pushed another sizable pot.
David Fhima jammed from the button for just 16,000 and Matt Souza happily called from the big blind.

Fhima just needed to hold with ace-high to keep his chances of cashing the Main Event alive. Fortunately for Fhima, the board ran out 6♥10♥Q♠5♠A♥ to give him two pair, and he doubled up.
Shant Setrakian was all in for his final 98,000 from middle position and at risk against Soojo Kim from the button.

It was a coinflip scenario for a brief amount of time before the Q♦9♠9♣ flop gave Kim quad nines. Setrakian was drawing to running queens but he could not find his ladies as the board ran out 5♣8♠ and Setrakian was eliminated in brutal fashion as the bubble draws one step closer.
"We did our part. Now we just need every other table to bust one person and we'll be there," joked a tablemate.
Ty Ho limped under the gun and Siddhesh Kudtarkar called in early position behind him. Bruno Furth raised to 30,000 in middle position which saw action fold back around to Kudtarkar who moved all in for 125,000 and Furth called.

The board ran out K♣6♣5♠2♣9♦ and the aces held up for the WSOP bracelet winner while Kudtarkar was eliminated from the tournament.
There were roughly 125,000 chips in the pot on a board of 10♦A♥3♦2♥, Fabrice Bigot checked in early position to Keith Heine on the button and he bet 45,000 on the turn, Bigot check-called.
Bigot decided to lead on the J♥ river for 75,000, and Heine went deep into the tank and made the call. Bigot tabled a set with 3♣3♠, Heine proclaimed he had ace-king.
Bigot now playing over 600,000 chips near the money bubble.
When the action folded to Asko Muratovic in the cutoff, he put in a raise to 14,000. One seat to his left, Stephen Chidwick made the call, before Kao Saechao put in a three-bet from the small blind to 39,000. The big blind got out of the way, but both Muratovic and Chidwick called.
Saechao continued for 24,000 on the K♥7♣4♦ flop. Muratovic made the call, and Chidwick folded.
The K♠ joined the board as the turn card, and Saechao decided a check was in order. This gave Muratovic the green light to take over the betting lead, doing so with a wager of 25,000.
Muratovic put some brief thought into his response, but ultimately decided just to fold.
Anderson Almonte was all-in and at risk preflop from the button and looked up by Chih-Wei Fan in the cutoff.

The Q♦10♦6♦J♥4♦ board gave Almonte a straight on the turn and flush on the river for the double.
Kartik Ved raised to 12,000 and was called only by Nicolas Fountotos in the big blind. On the Q♦9♥8♠ flop, Fountotos check-called for 15,000 and they checked the 4♠ on the turn. Fountotos checked the K♣ on the river and Ved fired another bet of 60,000, which eventually got the job done.
From middle position, Sergio Aido fired out a near-potsized bet of 45,000 on a board of K♦9♣A♥8♣, and Michael Bernstein called from the cutoff.
Upon seeing the 6♦ fall on the river, Aido bet out for 40,000. Not too long after, Bernstein raised to 225,000. Aido deliberated for a short time before returning his cards to the dealer and surrendering the pot to Bernstein.
