Bobro Put to the Test by Hastings

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Peter Bobro
Peter Bobro

With around 90,000 chips in the pot on a board of 8J7Q5, Brian Hastings had bet the river for 90,000 from the big blind, which out Peter Bobro in a difficult spot from under the gun.

Bobro was agonizing over the decision and was apologetic to Hasting for taking so long.

"Sorry, give me a minute," said Bobro after being in the tank for a while. He then picked up calling chips and clutched onto them for a while, dangling them over the pot, then eventually dropped them in.

Hastings then flipped 105 for a pair of fives and a straight blocker, and a relieved Bobro flipped 87 for two pair to win the pot.

Silber Cracks Aces to Double

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With 74,000 in the middle preflop, Reagan Silber got the rest of his 189,000 stack into the middle from hijack, at risk against Alexandros Kolonias from the cutoff on the J86 flop.

Reagan Silber: JJ All in
Alexandros Kolonias: AA

Silber outflopped the aces of Kolonias with his top set, but he still needed to hold to survive. He was able to do just that on the 37 runout as he secured the full double in a massive pot.

Farida Holds On to Survive

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action was joined as Raad Farida had three-bet shoved for 78,000 over the raise of Cesar Dominguez.

Dominguez made the call when action folded back around to him, and the players flipped their cards over.

Raad Farida: QQ All in
Cesar Dominguez: AJ

Dominguez flopped some extra outs when the dealer turned over 243.

There was no further help on the 6 turn or 2 river, though, and Farida was given a full double-up.

Taylor's Ace-King is Good

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-way pot between Michael Miravi in the big blind, Antoine Berruel in first position, and Esther Taylor in early position.

The flop rolled out 6JK and Miravi checked over to Berruel who bet 16,000 and both Miravi and Taylor called.

On the turn A, everyone checked over to Taylor who bet 40,000 and only Berruel called.

Both players checked the J river and Berruel turned over AQ for aces and jacks. That was no good against Taylor's AK for aces and kings and she added a significant sum to her stack.

Ilyas Scores a Late Night Double

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Kevin Williams opened to 15,000 and Semsettin Ilyas then jammed the button for 49,000. While the blinds had folded and Williams was in the tank, Ilyas joked "you can just fold, you are behind". Williams tossed in a single chip for the call and Ilyas was instantly knocked down in his confidence as he quickly added "oh sh.t, you are ahead".

Semsettin Ilyas: A7 All in
Kevin Williams: KJ

"Oh, you are behind," Ilyas said for the third change of mind and had reason to celebrate the double thanks to the 10439A runout.
