Barnard Wins the Pot Without Revealing His Cards

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The pot stood at around 150,000, and the board showed 64AQ. Joseph Barnard, in middle position, checked to Ivan Poroliev, who bet 80,000, which Barnard called.

On the 4 river, Barnard took the lead with a bet of 70,000. Poroliev took his time before raising to 280,000, prompting a snap-call from Barnard. Poroliev's cards quickly found the muck, and Barnard took down the pot without showing one card of his own.

Sturm Keeps the Pressure On to Take It Down

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Leon Sturm opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 24,000, picking up a call from Pierre Mothes in the big blind.

The flop came 9K4, and Mothes checked it over to Sturm, who continued for 18,000. Mothes gave him a long stare before making the call.

Both players checked the 9 turn, keeping the pot in control.

On the Q river, Mothes checked one more time, and Sturm seized the opportunity, firing 42,000. After some thought, Mothes slid his cards into the muck, handing the pot to Sturm without a showdown.

Zhang Goes Huge on River

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was joined as Dianlei Zhang and John Short were competing for a pot worth roughly 150,000.

The board had been dealt to the turn, showing 78A5.

Short, playing from the small blind, checked over to Zhang, who put out a bet of 80,000. After spending some time in the tank, Short decided to call.

The river then brought the 3, and Short checked again. Zhang then pushed in three towers of chips, worth 345,000.

Short's decision was quicker this time. He advised his opponent that he thought he must have a set of aces, and then folded his cards.

Ilani Holds For a Big Double Off Panyak

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stephen Kehoe bet 18,000 from the cutoff on a flop of J64 and was called by Jordan Rapoport on the button and big blind Maxim Panyak. Ran Ilani then raised to 145,000 in middle position and only Kehoe and Panyak called.

The turn was the 8 and Ilani moved all in for 378,000. Kehoe quickly folded, but Panyak took a few minutes to confirm the amount before calling.

Ilani turned over AJ and told the dealer not to turn over the river card yet as he whipped out his phone to begin filming the action. Panyak had 108 for a pair and flush draw, but he missed the Q river and Ilani doubled up.

At the same table, James Pillon has built up a stack of 1,800,000. "You're giving me chip envy. Do you have me covered?" the slightly-shorter stacked tablemate Montgomery Cole joked with Pillon.

Entine Sends Two Players Home

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Boutros Awad made it 30,000 under the gun before Dmitriy Strunin jammed from the small blind for 151,000. OIiver Entine moved in over the top with the covering stack and Awad called for his remaining 150,000.

Boutros Awad: 55 All in
Dmitriy Strunin: 1010 All in
Oliver Entine: JJ

Entine had the chance to send two players home if his pocket jacks could hold. The KA6 flop didn't help any player, and neither did the 6 turn or K river. Entine jacks won the pot, while Awad and Strunin were out.
