Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

John Tech raised from middle position to 30,000, and Kachun Kan called from the next seat. Nicholas Danias jammed for 240,000, and Tech moved in over the top. Kan folded, and the cards were turned over with Danias at risk.

Tech's pair of nines stayed ahead on the 672 flop, but the J turn improved Danias to a pair of jacks to take the lead. The 6 came on the river, cementing Danias' double-up.

Luka Bojovic
Luka Bojovic

The action was picked up on the turn, but a player at the table shared that Arnaud Mattern had opened on the button and Luka Bojovic responded with a three-bet to 145,000. Mattern made the call to see a flop.

On the 610A flop, Bojovic continued for 75,000, and Mattern came along.

Both players checked the 6 turn and the 10 river.

Bojovic revealed KK for two pair, but Mattern tabled AJ for aces and tens with a jack kicker, good enough to take down the pot.

Kassouf Makes Sure Tomes Doesn't Have to Be on the Feature Table

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Will Kassouf

Will Kassouf recently took his seat beside Greg Merson at a table that was selected to go on stream after the next break.

While the players were filling out bio sheets, Gary Tomes limped in from the small blind before Kassouf raised to 65,000 in the big blind. Tomes called and the flop came 10A6.

Kassouf then bet 100,000 and Tomes called. The turn was the 6 and Tomes moved all in for 320,000.

"I was expecting you to check. I think you have top pair and a flush draw. If you have a flush, I have outs," Kassouf said.

"I don't think I can fold this. You really didn't want to be on the feature table with me and Greg? You're fine with the $30,000. Just take it and go to the bar with your mates?" Kassouf added as he took a few minutes.

"Okay, let's go," he eventually said, sliding forward the chips to call. Tomes showed A4 for two pair, but Kassouf turned over 76 for trips. The river was the 8 and Tomes was sent to the rail.

"He really didn't want to be on the feature table. He's fine with the $30,000. He's a millionaire anyway. He'll let us play for the $10 million," Kassouf joked with Tomes, who still had a smile on his face and asked the dealer to allow him to snap a photo of the board before he headed off to the exit.

In a three-bet pot worth 240,000, Samuel Butters bet 60,000 from the small blind on a 6103 flop. Alex Bergfors then moved all in for 315,000, barely covering the 295,000 of Butters.

Butters tanked for about three minutes before he called off for his tournament life.

Samuel Butters: AK All in
Alex Bergfors: 77

Bergfors' pocket pair had a lead over Butters' Big Slick. The Q turn did not change anything, but Butters rivered a higher pair with the A completing the board.

Bergfors paid Butters and was eliminated shortly after.

Schmitz Duck, Duck, Out

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Action folded to Derek Alley in the small blind, who glanced at Orion Schmitz's stack and raised enough to put him all in. Schmitz looked at his cards and made the call, putting his tournament life on the line.

Orion Schmitz: 22All in
Derek Alley: J10

The flop already minimized Schmitz's hopes as it showed K510, giving Alley the better pair. The K turn and the 6 couldn't improve Schmitz's hand, and he was sent to the rail.
