Carmona's Main Event Comes to an End

Luis Carmona made it 40,000 from the hijack, and Paul Gibbons called from the cutoff before Marc Fiorentino three-bet to 125,000 from the button. Carmona four-bet jammed for 565,000, which prompted Gibbons to move in over the top for around a million. Fiorentino agonized over the decision for quite some time before folding and showing Big Slick to some of his tablemates.

Since Fiorentino had folded an ace, it looked even more likely that Gibbons' Cowboys were going to hold and eliminate Carmona. The board ran out 10♣10♦6♦5♣J♠, providing no help to Carmona, and he headed to the exit earlier than he had hoped.

Carrillo Finds a Miracle on the Turn

Raymond Langbraaten raised to 40,000 under the gun before Don Carrillo three-bet to 125,000 in the cutoff. Simon Levy then four-bet to 250,000 in the small blind, Langbraaten folded, while Carrillo called.

The flop came 8♦8♣6♠ and Levy continued for 200,000. Carrillo then moved all in for 525,000 and Levy instantly called.

Carrillo flung his cards into the middle of the table and was already getting up to leave after finding out he had run into Levy's aces, but the 9♥ turn gave him a reprieve with a full house. The river was the Q♠ and Levy let out a loud sigh as he counted out the chips to pay off Carrillo.

"God, that's tilting," Levy said.

Lee Succumbs to Pressure

Charles Lee opened to 40,000 in hijack and got a 110,000 three-bet from Kohei Arai on the button. Lee called to see a flop.

The dealer unfurled 6♠7♠4♣. Lee check-called Arai's bet of 110,000 again. After action was passed a second time, Arai fired 250,000 keeping the pressure high.

The high pressure put Lee in a difficult situation. He was visibly struggling to make a decision, especially since he only had around 450,000 behind. Frustrated he threw his hand in the muck pile.

Arai claimed that he had pocket tens as he added the pot to his significant stack.

On a pot of 130,000 and on a flop of 10♣Q♥7♦, Jasper Vanmoorsel, on the button, fired 40,000 after a check from Fabio Gomes in small blind. Gomes called, leading them to the next street.

Both checked the turn 9♦ and on the last street 10♦, Gomes took the initiative and bet 90,000 which was enough for Vanmoorsel to fold.

Hendrix Keeps Beating His Drum

Albert Calderon raised it up in middle position and was called by Adam Hendrix in the cutoff and Adam Agaev in the small blind. The flop came K♠7♣6♥ and Calderon continued with a bet of 50,000. Hendrix raised to 165,000 which put Agaev in the tank for nearly two minutes before he folded. Calderon called and they went heads-up to the J♥ on the turn.

Calderon checked this time and Hendrix counted out a bet of 295,000. Calderon quickly dumped his cards into the muck but pleaded to see at least one of Hendrix's cards. Hendrix slid his cards into the middle but Calderon failed to pick one before the dealer put them in the muck.

Eychenne led out for 40,000 on the 5♥7♣6♥ flop, and was met by a raise to roughly 140,000 by Bleznick. Eychenne called.

The J♥ turn checked through for the 3♣ to fall on the river. Eychenne led out for 90,000, and Bleznick called.

Eychenne showed a set with 5x5x, but lost the pot to Bleznick's rivered straight with K♠4♥.
