Sebastian Schulze opened to 300,000 in middle position with 9♥9♣ and Johan Schumacher three-bet to 1,350,000 in the big blind with J♣J♦. Schulze called and they went heads-up to a flop of K♦Q♥4♦.
Schumacher led out with a bet of 1,000,000 and Schulze instantly sent his inferior pocket pair into the muck.
A couple of hands later, Schumacher raised to 350,000 on the button with K♥7♥. Adam Hendrix stuck in a three-bet to 1,525,000 with A♥K♣ in the big blind and Schumacher was forced to let his hand go.
In a three-bet pot to the 10♥5♥3♠ flop, Joseph Ozimok bet 775,000 out of the big blind. Muhamet Perati on the button raised to 1,925,000 and Ozimok called. They checked the 7♠ on the turn and the 10♣ on the river.
Ozimok flashed Ax3x and mucked them with visible frustration when Perati tabled the 7♣6♣ for superior two pair.
Chad Power made it 300,000 from the cutoff with 8♦5♦ and only Leo Margets called from the button holding 3♠3♦.
Both players checked the 5♣J♠Q♣ flop for the 7♠ to appear on the turn. Two more checks came and the 8♠ appeared on the river. Power led out for 800,000, and Marget instantly folded.
Chris Dombrowski opened to 325,000 in early position and Octavian Voegele called in the hijack before Joshua Beckenstein three-bet jammed a stack of around 2,800,000 in the small blind. Dombrowski called and Voegele folded.
Joshua Beckenstein: K♠K♦
Chris Dombrowski: A♠Q♦
Kings held for Beckenstein as the board ran out 3♣8♥8♣2♥K♥ to improve him to kings full for an emphatic double.
Muhamet Perati raised to 300,000 in early position, Joey Padron three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind, and Perati called.
Padron checked the J♣9♥4♦ flop and Perati bet 500,000. Padron called and the 3♣ fell on the turn. Perati then bet 2,300,000, and Padron folded this time.
At another table, Nadav Barash bet 350,000 from the cutoff on a flop of K♠Q♣J♣ and Leon Sturm called on the button.
Barash checked the A♥ turn and Sturm bet 675,000. Barash called to the A♦ river, where he led out for 1,675,000. Sturm took a few minutes before eventually giving up his hand.
Michael Mizrachi raised and was then three-bet to 800,000 by Nazar Buhaiov in the next seat. All other players folded and Mizrachi called before he checked the A♥6♥5♥ flop. Buhaiov fired a first barrel for 425,000 for Mizrachi to call and did so again for 1,700,000 on the 4♥ turn.
Mizrachi block-bet the A♦ river for 400,000 and Buhaiov went deep into the tank, riffling the chips for several minutes. At some point, Mizrachi patted the felt right in front of his table neighbor while waiting for the next move.
Buhaiov then raised it up to 4,700,000 with a double-fisted bet and Mizrachi was sent into the blender. The camera crews were already recording all of the action for what shaped up to be a big pot. It took around two minutes of studying by Mizrachi to make the call and Buhaiov rolled over the K♦Q♣ only.
Mizrachi smashed his 7♥7♣ on the felt before celebrating towards his rail.
"That is such a sick call," Mounir Tajiou said, who had been recording the scene on his phone.
Chad Power raised to 300,000 from middle position with only Diego Ponce calling out of the big blind.
Ponce knuckled the action over to Power on the J♥A♣4♥ flop, and Power fired out 200,000. Ponce made the call.
The 6♦ came on the turn and Ponce check-called Power's bet of 550,000.
The 10♠ river got a final check from Ponce, which allowed Power to bet 900,000. Ponce snap-called and was shown a bluff by Power with 9♦8♦. Ponce revealed two pair with A♥4♣ to win the pot.
