Muhamet Perati raised to 1,200,000 in middle position with K♥2♥ and Maksim Pisarenko peeked down at A♠A♣ three-bet to 3,000,000 on the button.

Perati came back with a four-bet to 8,000,000, but Pisarenko then five-bet to 26,000,000, representing most of Perati's remaining stack. He quickly folded and Pisarenko took the big pot without seeing a flop.

Szwarcberg check-raised to 2,800,000 with just a straight draw but Hendrix countered with a three-bet shove as the big stack. Szwarcberg was forced to send his cards to the muck and Hendrix continued to stack chips.

Braxton Dunaway raised to 1,200,000 and John Wasnock three-bet to 2,800,000 on the button for the initial raiser to call. Heading to the 6♣5♦4♣ flop, Dunaway checked and Wasnock made it 3,200,000 for his opponent to call.

On the 8♣ turn, both players checked and the 4♦ fell on the river. Dunaway now bet 5,500,000 and Wasnock went deep into the tank before he let go.

Lautaro Guerra raised to 1,200,000 next and then folded when chip leader Kenny Hallaert three-bet.

Veloso then bet 3,200,000 and Perati took a minute before calling once more. Veloso showed 10♦6♣ for a flush, and Perati mucked A♠8♥.

The GGPoker ambassador made a difficult call for his tournament life on the river, calling it off with a marginal holding. But he trusted his instincts to stay alive, something he's done countless times in his Hall of Fame career.

Joey Padron opened to 1,200,000 in middle position and Richard Freitas made a small three-bet to 2,600,000 on the button. Padron called and the flop of 9♠2♠2♣ hit the felt. Padron checked to Freitas who continued with a bet of 2,800,000. Padron check-raised to 6,000,000 and Freitas ripped all in for 12,400,000. Padron asked for a count and then called to put Freitas at risk.

Padron was already ahead with the better kicker but the A♣ on the turn secured his victory. Freitas was left drawing dead to the 5♠ on the river and became the first elimination of the day.

Schulze and Bojovic checked down the 10♠9♠5♥9♦7♥ board and Nemetz showed A♠K♠. Schulze mucked K♥J♥ and Bojovic 6♥4♥ as Nemetz took the pot with ace-high to triple up.
