Adam Hendrix
Adam Hendrix

Hand #30: First to act, Mizrachi opened to 4,300,000 and Adam Hendrix three-bet to 12,000,000 in the cutoff. It folded back to Mizrachi and he moved all in. Hendrix called for 56,600,000.

Adam Hendrix: JJ All in
Michael Mizrachi: AK

The QQ4 flop kept Hendrix in the lead but the K turn propelled Mizrachi into the huge lead, leaving Hendrix with just two outs. None of the two remaining jacks came, instead the 3 on the river ended the run of Hendrix in sixth for $1,900,000.

Michael Mizrachi

The Grinder just won't die. Michael Mizrachi hit a pivotal river card while all in at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event final table to keep the seven-time bracelet winner's world championship dreams alive.

Mizrachi, who won his fourth Poker Players Championship title earlier this summer, had a similar run of cards on Day 8 as he staged a massive comeback propelled by two runner-runner flushes.

Mizrachi finished fifth in the 2010 WSOP Main Event and is poised to improve on that result, sitting as the chip leader with seven players remaining.

Spade on the River Ends History-Maker Margets’ WSOP Main Event Dreams

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Leo Margets
Leo Margets

It’s been a historic run for Leo Margets in this year’s WSOP Main Event, but unfortunately for the Spaniard and her loyal legion of supporters, that run has now come to an end.

Across nine days of play at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, Margets became the first woman in three decades to reach the final table of poker’s world championship, earning her place in the history books with a headline-grabbing run on the game’s biggest stage.

However, her tournament came to a close in 7th place for $1,500,000 after a brutal river card in a key pot against Kenny Hallaert ended her bid for the title.

Hand #31: Kenny Hallaert raised to 5,000,000 in the cutoff with KQ and Braxton Dunaway called on the button holding 65.

Both players checked down the A9210Q board, and Hallaert took it down with his rivered pair of queens.

Hand #32: Kenny Hallaert picked up AK and raised to 4,000,000 under the gun before Braxton Dunaway three-bet to 11,500,000 in the cutoff holding 77. Michael Mizrachi then four-bet to 40,000,000 in the small blind with JJ.

Hallaert took several minutes before folding, while Dunaway instantly tossed his cards away, and Mizrachi took the pot.

Hand #33: Michael Mizrachi raised to 4,200,000 on the button with J8 and Kenny Hallaert called in the big blind holding J10.

Mizrachi continued for 2,000,000 on the AAK flop and Hallaert called. The 4 turn and K river were checked to showdown, where Hallaert showed his flush and took the pot.

Hand #34: Kenny Hallaert limped in from the small blind with A7 and Braxton Dunaway looked down at KQ in the big blind and raised to 7,000,000. Hallaert called.

The flop came J53 and Dunaway bet 4,500,000. Hallaert called and they checked down the 10 turn and 2 river.

Hallaert showed his ace-high, which was good enough to win the pot.

Hands #35-36: Mizrachi Chips Up Before the First Break

Level 40 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Hand #35: Michael Mizrachi raised to 4,000,000 first to act with 109 and won the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #36: Kenny Hallaert picked up AK and raised to 5,000,000 in the cutoff, picking up two callers in the blinds in John Wasnock with KQ and Mizrachi holding 107.

The J107 flop was checked by all three players, and they headed to the 8 turn. Wasnock checked and Mizrachi bet 4,300,000, which Hallaert and Wasnock both called.

The 8 on the river then completed the board and Wasnock checked again. Mizrachi rechecked his cards and tapped the table as well, as did Hallaert. The two pair of Mizrachi was good enough to win the pot.

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Hand #41: Kenny Hallaert raised to 5,000,000 with Q8 and Braxton Dunaway called one seat over on the button holding KJ. Michael Mizrachi came along from the big blind with 85 to the three-way flop of 1097. Mizrachi opted to check and so did everyone else, leading to the 2 on the turn. Mizrachi bet 10,000,000 and picked up two calls to make it three ways to the board-pairing 2 river.

Mizrachi bet 25,500,000 and forced two quick folds, motioning to his rail for applause and receiving it.

Hand #42: Mizrachi pushed K10 into the big blind of Luka Bojovic, who folded with a smirk on the face.

Hand #43: Mizrachi raised the button to 4,000,000 with QJ and Hallaert defended the big blind with K10 to the KJ2 flop, on which Hallaert checked. Mizrachi double fist-pumped in a bet of 4,300,000 and Hallaert called, leading them to the 5 turn. Hallaert checked again and Mizrachi fired a second barrel for 12,600,000, which Hallaert called.

The river brought the fourth diamond with the 7 and Hallaert reached into his stack at first before leaning back and checking. Mizrachi leaped out of his chair to check the stack of his opponent and fired a third barrel for 50,000,000 into a pot of 44,800,000, forcing another fold from Hallaert.
