It's a Race, Nope it's a Straight

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alex Keating raised to 50,000 from the button, and Jaehoon Baek moved all in from the big blind for 206,000. Keating contemplated his options and made the call.

Jaehoon Baek: 66 All in
Alex Keating: KQ

Keating announced, "It's a race", but after the board was dealt, the dealer stated, "It's a straight".

The board was 9758A, and Baek was rewarded with double his chips.

Straight Flush for Olivetti

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Nicholas Olivetti began the action with a raise to 40,000 from the button and was called from the big blind by Jiho Lam.

The flop fanned out 610Q, which led to a check from Lam. Olivetti chose to bet 60,000 and was called by Lam to send them to a turn.

Lam checked the K turn and faced a bet of 100,000 from Olivetti. Lam responded with an all-in and was called by Olivetti.

Nicholas Olivetti: 109All in
Jiho Lam: K9

Olivetti held a pair plus a flush draw, but it was Lam that had the best of it with top pair.

Olivetti was stunned by the river as it came the J to give him a straight flush, which caused him to stand up in disbelief.

Jiho Lam was left with 167,000 following the hand, but he was seen leaving the tournament area shortly after the hand as he busted from the tournament.

Defending Champ Jonathan Tamayo Wins Lucky Flip for WSOP Main Event Seat

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Jonathan Tamayo

Reigning World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo flipped his way into this year's championship event, meaning he won't even have to put up the $10,000 buy-in to defend his title.

Tamayo announced on Sunday that he won a WSOP Online $160 All-In Flipament, a flip-and-go-style event that puts players all-in blind and that needs 64 players to run, according to Kevin Mathers.

Tamayo demonstrated his luck a year ago when he navigated the largest WSOP Main Event field in history to win $10 million. The longtime poker pro from Texas proved luck is still on his side in 2025.

"I won the 3pm one it seems," Tamayo wrote on X.

It was a cooler as Noel Rodriguez and Congya Zhang got the chips in preflop with Zhang at risk for 360,000.

Congya Zhang: QQAll in
Noel Rodriguez: AA

Zhang had a premium hand, but ran into the aces of Rodriguez, and needed help as they went to a runout.

The flop was clean for Rodriguez as it came 374. The 6 turn and the 3 river offered no drama as Zhang was sent to the payout desk.

Hasson Takes Out Keating

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Alex Keating
Alex Keating

Action was joined with a bloated pot, and the flop read 345. Gary Hasson had bet out for 40,000 only to face a raise from Alex Keating to 200,000, which sent Hasson deep into the tank before he announced that he was all-in. Keating snap called.

Alex Keating: 65All in
Gary Hasson: A2

Keating had outs, and when the 6 dropped on the turn, he was given even more. However, the Q that bricked out on the river wasn't one of them, and he was sent to the cage.
