Paul Kardules Eliminated in 22nd Place ($14,320)

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Paul Kardules
Paul Kardules

Paul Kardules opened the action under the gun, as he shoved his remaining 2,400,000. Action folded all the way around to Eric Dillon in the small blind, who counted out 2,800,000 and pushed it into the middle. Zhengyu Guan was considering her options when she pointed out that Dillon now had 3,200,000 in the middle, which was not a valid raise. Dillon was adamant that he raised, saying he miscalculated how much a minraise would be. That number was in fact 4,000,000.

After some deliberation, the raise was allowed to stand, and Dillon then put 4,200,000 in front of him. He took 200,000 back. Given the decision, Guan decided to fold.

Paul Kardules: Q8 All in
Eric Dillon: AJ

The 977 flop gave no help to Kardules, but he did pick up some chop outs on the 7 turn. the 3 river helped him none, as Dillon raked in his chips. Guan announced that she had folded 73 for quads.

Michael Fiorenza
Michael Fiorenza

Riku Mieda raised to 1,600,000 from middle position, only for Michael Fiorenza to three-bet all in also from middle position for 6,100,000. Action quickly folded back around to Mieda, who took no time at all to make the call.

Michael Fiorenza: KJAll in
Riku Mieda: 10J

Not the flop Fiorenza wanted to see when it came 1065 to send Mieda into the lead, and the 9 on the turn didn't cut this back at all. The 10 dropped on the river for a bit of overkill, and Fiorenza was sent packing in 23rd place.

Jae Choi raised from the small blind to 1,800,000 only for Blake Napierala to three-bet all in from the big blind for 10,700,000. Choi thought for a while and made the call.

Blake Napierala: A4All in

Ian Simpson: 77All in
Jae Choi: AK

A safe flop came for Simpson of 688 but when the A peeled off on the turn, it was not looking good for the UK player. The J completed the runout, and Smith was sent to the cage in 26th spot.
