Dinh Soikes an Ace to Stay Alive

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Thai Dinh raised from under the gun to 110,000 only to be three-bet by Matthew Raffoul in early position to 300,000. Action folded back around to Dinh, who four-bet to 600,000, leaving himself just 145,000 behind. Raffoul then five-bet jammed all in, and he had Dinh covered. Dinh snap called.

Thai Dinh: AQAll in
Matthew Raffoul: QQ

The flop came JA2 to send Dinh into the lead, and when the 10 fell on the turn and 5 bricked on the river, he was pushed the pot and a full double up and more.

Borland Takes Out Henroid

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Steven Henroid moved all-in for 290,000 from under the gun, and action was folded around to James Borland in middle position, who squeezed his cards and then announced that he was also all-in. The remaining players folded.

Steven Henroid: 55All in
James Borland: AQ

Not the nicest flop for Henroid of QKJ, and when the 3 dropped on the turn, he was drawing to three outs. The 9 brick on the river wasn't one of them, and he was sent to the cage.

On the turn 7, Stanton moved all in for effective 525,000, and Caserio folded. Stanton kept true to his promise and showed A10 for a straight.

Bakota Doubles Blind on Blind

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Alexandra Brierton shoved from the small blind, covering Andrew Bakota in the big. He had just under 800,000 and took a while to come to a decision. Eventually, he rechecked his cards, saw they hadn't changed, and tossed a chip high into the air.

Andrew Bakota: A10 All in
Alexandra Brierton: K8

Bakota only had to fade a ten on the river, which he did as the A3QJ2 runout gave him a more than healthy stack to continue with.

Crazy Eights for Phan

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nam Phan raised to 80,000 from under the gun, and action was folded around to Matthieu Mary in the small blind who three-bet to 255,000. Phan called.

The flop came 9Q5, and Mary checked to Phan, who bet out for 170,000. Mary called, and both players checked the 6 that came on the turn.

The 8 peeled off on the river, and Mary checked again. Phan thought for a while and then announced that he was all-in for 580,000, which had Mary covered. This sent Mary deep into the tank for three-four minutes before he tossed in a chip to make the call. Phan tabled 88 for a rivered set as Mary turned over QK for one pair, which was no good, and he was sent to the rail.
