Victor Egutisoares raised to 75,000 and Gabriel Andrade shoved next to him for 175,000 total. It folded to Karim Lehoussine in the big blind who announced pot for 630,000 and Egutisoares let it go:
Gabriel Andrade: A♠10♠8♣7♦
Karim Lehoussine: A♦K♥Q♠8♦
Lehoussine improved his hand into trips on the board K♦7♣K♠2♦J♥ to bust Andrade.
Noah Boeken raised the pot to 140,000 from under the gun, and action was folded around to Igor Zektser on the button, who three-bet pot to 420,000. Jonathan Turner in the big blind, then called all-in for less than the pot, and Boeken also called and was all-in for less as well.
Noah Boeken: J♣J♥3♣3♥
Jonathan Turner: K♦Q♥Q♦4♥
Igor Zektser: A♣Q♠9♣9♠
The flop came 8♣6♦A♦ and Zektser stormed into the lead with a pair of aces. The turn brought the 5♥ and changed nothing, and when the river paired the board with the 5♠ Zektser's one pair scooped the main and side pots to send both Boeken and Turner packing and claim a double bounty elimination.
All the chips went in the middle preflop between Mark Gregorich with the smallest stack worth 495,000, Jason Wheeler for around 630,000 and Richard Alsup for a three-way showdown:
Mark Gregorich: A♥J♥9♠7♣
Jason Wheeler: K♠7♦5♠4♣
Richard Alsup: A♠A♣Q♥6♦
Alsup has the best starting hand but the board revealed J♣9♥5♣10♠2♥ to give two pair to Gregorich to triple up while Alsup took down the side pot to bust Wheeler.
Stanislav Barshak under the gun, Pei Li, Tristen Barnes all limped. With action to cutoff, Matthew Barnett bet the pot worth 260,000. Barshak and Li called. Barnes with only 315,000 thought for a few seconds then called.
Fireworks began when the dealer flopped 3♦5♥8♥. Barshak announced all-in. Li announced all-in right after, Barnes, with a sheepish smile threw in his remaining chips and Barnett took a millisecond to call.
Tristen Barnes: Q♠Q♥10♦9♥
Stanislav Barshak: Q♣J♥9♦8♠
Matthew Barnett: A♠A♦8♣7♣
Pei Li: 6♥5♣4♦2♦
Barnett was ahead with aces. And the runout 10♠8♦ improved his hand to trips of eight. Barnett scooped the huge pot and ended Barnes and Barshak's tournament run.
Action was picked up after all the preflop betting, as Gregory Fournier was in late position and had called the shoves from the cutoff for 225,000, Adrian Santos, and the big blind, Izotov Pavel, for 345,000. Rich Alsup also called both the shoves, and it was four-way to the flop with two players all-in.
Fournier and Alsup checked down the board of 8♥9♣7♠J♣8♠
In a heads-up hand with a pot containing already 995,000 , the flop showed K♣Q♠K♥ and Jake Parsons checked to Eemil Tuominen. The latter thought about his move and announced pot. Parsons snap-called all in for a stack worth 980,000:
Jake Parsons: Q♣Q♦7♠6♦
Eemil Tuominen: A♣A♦3♦2♦
Parsons had hit queens full but a A♥ landed on the turn to give a better boat to Tuominen, who took Parsons' bounty fter the 5♦ completed the board.
The flop read Q♠8♣K♠ in a heads-up pot when Djordje Stojic checked to Carlos De Lima who sent 300,000 in the middle. Stojic shoved for not much more and De Lima snap-called:
Djordje Stojic: A♠J♣10♣10♦
Carlos De Lima: K♣J♦8♦3♥
De Lima had hit two pair and Stjic couldn't improve on the 6♣ turn and 9♠ river to be eliminated from the event.
