Naveiro Eliminates Higgins

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Justin Saliba raised to 20,000 from under the gun to open the action. Simon Higgins opted to throw in his final 28,000 to go all-in from middle position. It folded to Inigo Naveiro on the button, who chose to raise it to 100,000. Saliba gave it some thought, but chose to fold to make the pot heads up between Higgins and Naveiro, with Higgins at risk.

Simon Higgins: KJAll in
Inigo Naveiro: KQ

Naveiro had Higgins dominated going into the runout. There was no drama as the board came out 57524 to award Naveiro the pot.

Nazarenko Continues to Build Big Stack and Knocks Out Li

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ruslan Nazarenko opened to 20,000 from the hijack before Yingui Li decided to play for it all with an all-in for 93,000. Nazarenko paused a moment before making the call to put Li at risk.

Yingui Li: A5All in
Ruslan Nazarenko: K6

Li held the best hand preflop, but the flop was not in his favor as it came 9KJ to give Nazarenko the lead.

The 5 turn gave Li some additional outs, but the 8 river did not deliver on any of those outs to send Li out of the tournament.

Nazarenko, with that knockout, is nearing the million chip mark as he continues to build a formidable stack.
