Brewer's Queens are Best

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

Chris Brewer raised to 22,000 from early position and called a three-bet of 57,000 from Ryan Feldman, who was in the hijack.

Brewer check-called a 20,000 bet from Feldman on the J2J flop and a 62,000 bet from Feldman on the K turn.

The K river double-paired the board and both players checked.

Brewer turned over QQ for queens-up and Feldman tossed his hand into the muck.

"I didn't want to get snapped," Feldman said as Brewer collected the chips.

"Well, I wasn't going to snap..." Brewer replied.

Lijo Cracks Wilson's Aces

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After a raising war preflop, Lander Lijo was all-in for his final 271,000 from middle position, at risk against the covering stack of Brandon Wilson in the hijack.

Lander Lijo: AK All in
Brandon Wilson: AA

It was a brutal cooler for Lijo as the QJ7 flop brought him some life with a gutshot. Nothing changed on the 6 turn until the 10 completed the board, giving Lijo broadway as he decimated Wilson in brutal fashion to double.

Soverel Drags Five-Bet Pot

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sam Soverel opened to 20,000 from under the gun before Albert Daher made it 65,000 on his left. In the hijack, Ben Tollerene cold four-bet to 165,000 before Soverel clicked it to 310,000. Daher folded before Tollerene called.

On the K95 flop, Soverel continued for just 55,000 and Tollerene put in the call after burning through a time bank.

The turn brought the 3 as Soverel led again, this time for 95,000, and Tollerene laid it down rather quickly.

Peters Cannot Fold Out Hamada

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river in a massive pot between David Peters in the hijack and Shoichiro Hamada in the big blind.

Hamada checked over to Peters on the board reading 98AAK and Peters bet 358,000 of his total stack of 359,000. Hamada went into the tank and burned two time extensions, eventually deciding to call.

Peters turned over 108 for a missed straight draw, which was no good against Hamada's A3 for three aces.

"Wow you had to earn that one," tablemate Phong Turbo Nguyen said.

After being left with one chip, Peters was eliminated shortly after.

Level 9 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel opened the cutoff to 20,000 before Yuri Dzivielevski three-bet to 75,000 on the button. It folded back to Kabrhel who put out a four-bet to 245,000. Dzivielevski then shoved as the covering stack and Kabrhel called off for 894,000.

Martin Kabrhel: KK All in
Yuri Dzivielevski: AK

It was a cooler scenario with Kabrhel having the best of it. The QQ4 flop gave Dzivielevski a backdoor straight draw, but the board ran out 9J and Kabrhel held on to become the chip leader in a massive pot during the final frame of play
