Lee Takes the Rest of Arnoldi's Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

It folded to Stanley Lee on the button who shoved and Theo Arnoldi called with a very short stack around two big blinds left.

Arnoldi was ahead with AJ, facing A6 in Lee's hands, but the board fell 685A3 to give two pair to Lee and bust Arnoldi.

Davoudzadeh Forces a Fold

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up on a pot of 70,000 and a board of JK8J with two players going toe-to-toe. Mateus Moraes fired 25,000 and got called by Farhad Davoudzadeh.

On the river 2, Moraes checked prompting Davoudzadeh to bet 80,000 which was enough to make Moraes fold.

Difficult Fold for Abiscott

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a heads-up raised pot, the flop read 322 when Pavels Spirins bet 15,000. Joshua Abiscott tanked for some time on the button before calling.

The turn was the Q and Spirins sent 47,000 in the middle. Abiscott went deep into tank but eventually folded.

Ciccarelli Runs Into Trips

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Changliang Deng opened to 10,000 from the cutoff. The small blind called, and John Ciccarelli defended from the big blind.

Deng continued for 17,000 on the 962 but Ciccarelli was the only one to call.

Both of them checked the 9 turn leading to the 8 river where Deng bet 27,000. Ciccarelli check-raised all-in for 122,000 with A6 for two pair, but Deng called with Q9 for trips and eliminated Ciccarelli.

Chen Doubles Through Robert

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Xi Chen open-shoved all-in for 44,000 in middle position.Vincent Robert in the cutoff shoved all-in for around 120,000, pushing everyone else out of the hand. Chen and Robert went to a showdown of:

Xi Chen: 87 All in
Vincent Robert: AQ

Robert was ahead with ace-high on the flop of 699. But it gave Chen an open-ended straight draw and a chance to stay in the tournament. The turn 5 completed his draw making Robert frown. The river K was dealt with no consequence.

Robert matched Chen's chips, visibly frustrated with the turn of events.

The 40-year-old pool shark-turned poker pro from New York won his seventh World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet this summer, and was honored during a ceremony at Horseshoe Las Vegas on Day 1 of Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty.

Jason Wheeler raised from early position to 9,000, and action folded around to Cristian David in the big blind who called.

The flop came 45J and both players checked to see the 3 peel off on the turn. David led out for 17,000, and Wheeler called.

The 2 came as the river, and the action went check-check. Wheeler tabled A2 for the wheel, and he has definitely got the bus in motion with a stack nearing 800,000. David mucked his cards on seeing Wheeler's wheel!

Two Pair for Melogno

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Tristan Wade in the cutoff bet 8,000 on a flop of A87. Sergio Aguero called from the small blind, and Pablo Melogno in the big blind called as well.

On the Q turn, Melogno led out for 13,000. Wade called, but Aguero folded at this point.

Both Melogno and Wade checked the 7 river and Melogno flipped over Q8 for two pair. Wade looked at the board for a long moment and mucked his cards.
