Brown's Aces Hold, Eliminates Chiu

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Kyle Ho opened with 80,000 in late position and got a three-bet to 210,00 from Peter Brown in hijack. Action went to the button Ichun Chiu, who checked the clock before four-betting to 480,000. Ho got out of the way of the escalating heat.

Brown five-bet all-in for about 1,900,000, and Chiu, who was covered, instantly called.

Chiu didn't expect to bump into aces but waited for the board to get dealt quietly. The board ran 57J38. Brown's aces held crushing Chiu's hope of finishing the event.

Wai Lo opened to 80,000 under the gun and Upeshka De Silva, to his immediate left, raised to 700,000 leaving around 50,000 behind. Wehn action returned to him, Lo went all-in sending De Silva to the tank, prompting Lo to say, "Don't slow roll me."

De Silva was taking so much time that the clock was called. De Silva placed his remaining chips, taking them to showdown.

The window card of the flop evoked an "Oh no.." reaction from Lo, but calmed down when it fully dropped to JQ4, giving him a set.

The runout 89 didn't help De Silva and he was eliminated from the tournament.
