"This Is a Gamble Spot"

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Bogdan Munteanu opened to 200,000 from early position. Davidi Kitai to his left three-bet to 455,000, then Munteanu jammed for 1,405,000.

Kitai went deep into the tank. "This is a gamble spot," he said before making the call.

Bogdan Munteanu: KK All in
Davidi Kitai: KQ

The gamble seemed to pay off for Kitai on a flop of 279, but the 75 runout didn't complete his flush so Munteanu doubled up.

Down to 490,000, Kitai was eliminated a few hands later.

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Simone Wilson
Simone Wilson

Simon Wilson opened the action to 200,000 from cutoff and got an all-in shove from Joaquin Pacha for around 850,000. Wilson called putting Pacha's tournament life at risk.

Joaquin Pacha: A8 All in
Simon Wilson: 1010

Wilson was ahead with his tens and unless Pacha can hit the board with his ace, he would be on his way out the door. The board ran 785Q2. With no ace on the board, Pacha's tournament life ended. As Wilson stacked his chips and Pacha left the floor, someone on the table muttered quietly that Wilson was busting everyone at their table.

Michael Leah
Michael Leah

Mike Leah sent 450,000 in the middle preflop, keeping only 5,000 behind and it folded to Bahar Musa who shoved in the big blind. Leah called with his last chip and they tabled their cards:

Mike Leah: K8 All in
Bahar Musa: 44

Leah seemed in good shape for a double up as the board first showed 2AJK to give him a pair of kings. However, a 4 hit the river and Musa scooped the pot with a set of fours.
