On a board of 3♠8♦6♣4♦ with 300,000 in the pot, Andres Vasquez in the blinds moved all-in to apply pressure on Stephane Serfati in the hijack. Serfati went deep into the tank and called off his last 325,000 when the clock was called.
Stephane Serfati: 5♠5♥
Andres Vasquez: K♠K♣
Serfati luckily hit the 2♠ river to complete his straight and secure a double up.
All the chips went in the middle preflop between Upeshka De Silva and Alexander Farahi, who lost a pot earlier to De Silva and had around 150,000 left:
Alexander Farahi: K♥J♥
Upeshka De Silva: A♥J♣
Farahi was dominated and the board didn't bring him any help with 7♦9♠8♥5♠A♣ to bust him from the event.
Tamer Alkamli raised in the cutoff to 40,000 and Tanupat Punjarojanakul three-bet to 150,000 in the small blind, with 10,000 left behind. Alkamli raised and Punjarojanakul called with his last chips:
Tanupat Punjarojanakul: 9♥9♣
Tamer Alkamli: K♠10♣
Punjarojanakul improved into a full house with the board 2♦9♠8♦A♠2♥ and took down the needed double up.
Action was caught on a pot of around 250,000 and a completed board of K♣10♦4♠9♣3♥. John Racener bet 180,000, sending his heads-up opponent, Stephane Revelly, to the tank. Revelly finally made the call and had to muck after Racener showed J♣J♦.
Joshua Abiscott, who was on the table, was analyzing the hand with Huck Seed. Abiscott continued on as if Racener wasn't within earshot, eventually apologizing to the latter for the conversation.
But it didn't stop until Racener and Seed found themselves in an all-in situation against each other on a pot of around 200,000 and a flop of 8♦2♣6♣. Seed was all-in for 225,000 and action was with Racener. After stating he really didn't want Seed to go, he called.
Huck Seed: 8♠7♥
Joshua Abiscott: 9♣9♥
Abiscott was ahead with his nines until the turn 7♠ dropped, giving Seed two pair. The 2♥ counterfeited Seeds two pair to give Abiscott the win.
Their conversation ended somehow with Abiscott saying that he deserved to win, to which Seed replied that the young ones were the ones who should.
Peter Csampai opened from middle position. Stephane Serfati on the button three-bet to 110,000, then Csampai four-bet to 230,000. Serfati raised the bid to 840,000 and Csampai called off his last 600,000.
Peter Csampai: K♠K♦
Stephane Serfati: Q♣Q♠
Csampai kept the lead all the way through a board of 10♣J♥10♦6♠8♣ and doubled up.
Alex Foxen opened to 40,000 on the button and Igor Picone three-bet in the small blind, with a short stack. Foxen four-bet and Picone called all in for a total stack around 340,000.
Igor Picone: A♦K♦
Alex Foxen: 9♦9♠
Picone managed to win the flip as the board gave K♥3♣6♥2♣Q♠ to double his stack.
