Flush Surprises Luo

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Xixiang Luo open-shoved all-in for 410,000 and Carlos Saucedo made the call taking them to showdown.

Xixiang Luo: K8 All in
Carlos Saucedo: AQ

There was a slight commotion happening in the background that distracted the players at the table when the board ran 927JA.

Both Saucedo and Luo looked disheartened when the last card was dealt, only for the latter to realize that he had won it with a flush.

The dealer picked up his hand and turned it over, about to muck his hand when Luo stopped his hand gently to say he had a flush. The dealer awarded the pot to Luo, leaving Saucedo with only a big blind and a half.

Saucedo was eliminated a few hands later.

Yanovsky Sends Lu to Hit the Rails

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

With a pot of around 250,000 and a flop of 910K, Eric Yanovsky bet 75,000 after Yunye Lu, his heads-up opponent, checked. Lu raised to 200,000, making him think about his situation.

After a few seconds, Yanovsky shoved all-in and Lu snap-called.

Yunye Lu: J8 All in
Eric Yanovsky: K10

Yanovsky had two pair but Lu hoped one of his numerous outs with a flush draw and a straight draw would come out. The runout 89 didn't improve Lu sending him to the rail.
