Gahshan Wins Family Pot With Straight Flush

Level 13

Omaha Hi-Lo

Thomas Taylor raised under the gun. Wissam Gahshan called in the cutoff, Toby Lewis did so on the button, and Anson Tsang defended his big blind, meaning all four players on the table were involved.

Tsang then led out on the 9710 flop. He received calls from Taylor and Gahshan, while Lewis got out of the way. The 3 turn saw Tsang put in another bet. Taylor and Gahshan called to the 8 river.

It checked to Gahshan, who fired a bet. Tsang and Taylor tossed in quick calls, but they mucked their hands in amazement when Gahshan tabled AQJJ for a straight flush, scooping the pot.

Rechnitzer Scoops the Rest of Benson's Chips

Level 14

Omaha Hi-Lo

Shanmukha Meruga raised on the button and was three-bet by George Rechnitzer in the small blind. Gary Benson was already forced all in from the big blind and Meruga called.

Rechnitzer continued for a bet on the QQ9 flop and then called a raise from Meruga.

Both players checked on the A turn and Rechnitzer led out for a bet on the 7 river. Meruga looked him up and Rechnitzer tabled AKQ2 for queens-full of aces.

Meruga showed the lone Q and sent his hand into the muck.

Benson hadn't yet looked at his cards and flipped over 93410 one-by-one — leaving him with just two pair to be eliminated.
