Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Leonard Maue raised to 8,000 from the cutoff, but Yueqi Zhu wanted to play for more and re-raised it to 22,000 on the button. Maue called to send them to a flop.

Maue checked the 1037 flop before Zhu quickly fired 17,000. Maue check-raised to 41,000, which put Zhu into the tank.

Zhu opted to fold to award the pot to Maue.

Zerjav Eliminates Spasov

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Simeon Spasov raised to 8,000 before he faced a re-raise from Blaz Zerjav to 28,000. Spasov gave it some thought before he pushed his stack in for 230,000 and was called by Zerjav to be at risk.

Simeon Spasov: AKAll in
Blaz Zerjav: JJ

Spasov needed to hit one of his overcards, but none were to be seen on the 3210 flop.

The 2 was of no relevance, and the river was a picture card, but it was the Q as Spasov was unable to improve and sent him out of the tournament.

Glantz Hero Calls Correctly to Leave Chen With One Chip

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of Q3977 and around 80,000 in the middle, David Chen shoved from the small blind, slightly covering Matt Glantz who had around 120,000 in the big blind. Glantz called, putting himself at risk.

Chen had 108 for a missed straight draw turned into a bluff. Glantz showed 66 for just a pair of sixes to double up while Chen was left with one fifth of a big blind

Lindgren's Ladies Show Pais the Exit

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren

In the final hand dealt of the previous level, Mauricio Pais raised from under the gun to 8,000, before John Juanda three-bet from the button to 20,000. Erick Lindgren then put in a cold four-bet from the small blind to 52,000.

Action was back on Pais, whose total stack was 44,000. After spending two or three minutes deciding what to do, he moved his chips into the middle.

Juanda folded what he would later tell the table was ace-jack.

Mauricio Pais: 1010 All in
Erick Lindgren: QQ

There was no help for Pais on the A2253 runout, sending Pais to the exit, and his stack over to Lindgren.
